Elite Open Top

The Elite Open Top from Image Boats is a versatile trailerable alloy model designed for Kiwi boaties who want an open, social layout with strong offshore capability. Available in multiple hull lengths from 5.6 to 6.6 metres, it combines a generous beam, high freeboard and solid construction to provide a confident platform for fishing, family cruising and towing water toys.

This model features marine grade 5 mm chines on the bottom and 4 mm sides and top, delivering a robust, soft-riding hull with a 17-degree transom deadrise. A Portofino-style transom, dive platform with handrails and self-draining anchor locker with hatch make boarding, anchoring and water access straightforward. Inside, the cockpit benefits from practical touches such as rod storage alongside the cockpit, footrests, a bait station and a dash handrail, while cabin shelves and the option of padded squabs offer additional comfort and stowage for extended days on the water.

The Elite Open Top tows easily at approximately 1000 kg on trailer and sits 3.1 m high, making it well suited to regular launching and retrieval. Power options span 115–200 hp, giving buyers the flexibility to tailor performance to their style of boating, from economical cruising to more spirited runs offshore. With an extensive range of extras including full bow rail, hydraulic steering, bimini options, electronics, stereo, ski pole and fuel tank upgrades, each Elite Open Top can be customised to suit fishing-focused, family or multi-purpose use.
