Marco Boats

Marco Boats has been building small, but well built alloy trailer boats since the mid 1980's. Back then, times were changing and aluminium boats had started proving themselves against traditional glass options. Marco Boats' proximity to the Coromandel and Hauraki Gulf made them a popular choice for anyone looking for a proven, capable alloy fishing boat.

The company was taken over in 2003, initially maintaining their core principles but expanding their model range in 2006 with the 700 Souwester, followed by the 650 and the 725 Souwester. With the growth of trailer boat game fishing, customer demand saw the range grow further with the 880 and then the 950 Souwester, which won the Hutchwilco boat show award for "Fishing boat open" category in 2018.

Later in 2018, the first of the 750 and 800 Souwester models were introduced to provide customers with many options to create a custom fishing boat without the cost of a one-off build. Marco Boats offers boats ranging from 4 to 9.5 meters and can accommodate custom designs if needed.

Marco Boats is proud to collaborate with Mercury and Honda outboards and offers servicing under warranty for these brands as well as all other inboard and outboard engines.
