Oceanpro Boats

Oceanpro Boats are manufactured by Pauanui Marine & Engineering Ltd, owned and operated by Mike Bush. Mike studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland and worked as a designer for New Zealand's leading manufacturer of RIB Coastguard vessels. Subsequently, he served as the head designer and manufacturing manager for a US-based boat builder specializing in superyacht tenders, military, and work boats, catering to clients including the US Coast Guard, Department of Justice, Police, and Oracle Team USA.

Following his dream of establishing his own boat company, Mike returned to New Zealand and applied his extensive experience to create Oceanpro Boats, manufacturing custom and production aluminium boats tailored for the local market.

Oceanpro prioritizes safety and performance, crafting aluminium pontoon boats designed to excel in offshore conditions. The boats feature a super fine entry hull for superior handling and a smooth, comfortable ride inspired by RHIB design, ensuring a soft entry and exceptional performance.

Their hulls are constructed from 5083 certified marine-grade high-strength aluminium, reinforced with full-height longitudinal frames and multiple cross frames for unmatched durability and stiffness.

Safety features include reserve buoyancy in four separate chambers exceeding the boat's fully loaded mass, with three fully sealed and pressure-tested pontoon chambers and a sealed under-deck void designed to meet Australian flotation regulations, providing security and peace of mind to users.
