The story of Sealegs
Sealegs began as an idea on a napkin in 2001 which quickly turned into a prototype, then into a manufacturing company producing Sealegs amphibious crafts.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand, renowned as one of the marine capitals of the world. Since the first Sealegs production craft rolled off the line in 2004, the company has continuously pioneered the amphibious boating industry. All Sealegs crafts are proudly designed and made in New Zealand.
Sealegs crafts utilize patented amphibious technology allowing the boats to drive on land and with the push of a button, transform into high-performance powerboats on water. This innovation solves common boating problems such as the hassle of launching and retrieving boats from beach-front properties or boat ramps. Sealegs owners report up to four times more use from their boats due to the convenience and unique capabilities provided.
