ARMIDE Yacht for Sale
Overview
About this vessel
ARMIDE is a timeless Bermudian schooner, built in 1938 by Grassi Shipyard. She was extensively rebuilt between 2016 and 2018 by Classic Works in La Ciotat, near her birthplace in Marseille, and is now part of the south of France's maritime patrimony.
The current owner acquired her in a dilapidated state and embarked on a comprehensive rebuild, transforming her into a seaworthy classic that surpasses her original construction. Though not initially built as a race boat, the substantial investment made during the rebuild—which included new sails and rigging—has created a formidable contender for the regatta circuit.
ARMIDE exhibits exceptional craftsmanship throughout. Her hull features iroko planking on oak frames, her superstructure has mahogany planking on oak frames, and her decks feature teak on oak frames.
