Ellen is a classic carvel planked timber boat with Jarrah below the waterline and Oregon above. The hull has been fully glassed, adding strength and making maintenance far less demanding. The mast and rigging have been replaced.

Ellen is a classic timber yacht currently being raced and cruised in Goolwa, South Australia, as part of the Vintage Boat Club. The brightwork is in excellent condition, looking as good as the day she was relaunched in 2017. She is a credit to her owner, having been lovingly restored over recent years. Ellen is a beautiful day sailor and racer with classic lines. With a small amount of work, she could easily be modified to incorporate overnight accommodation, making her an ideal river cruiser. She is a beautiful boat and a reluctant sale. Painted and brightwork completed January 2022.
