Curnow and Wilton Trawler Style 13m Classic
Overview
About this vessel
Built in 1955 by Curnow and Wilton, "Santa Maria" has been beautifully maintained. Her classic build makes for a unique liveaboard straight out of a storybook. She was built for fishing hapuka and crays in the Cook Strait and is solid, strong and comfortable. "Santa Maria" subsequently worked various roles around the rest of the country and is a unique part of history. Professionally converted around 20 years ago, she is a much-admired vessel. She is a credit to her current owners. All general maintenance is taken care of with much love and her paint and varnish work is in excellent order. The stern area is expansive with full walk-around capability. This makes for great fishing, outdoor living and entertainment. The solid Gardiner engine is in good order and cruises at 8 knots. Full of character and a great sea boat or liveaboard.
