Bracken 35 Flybridge
Overview
About this vessel
JADA, built in 1969, is a Bracken 35 Flybridge cruiser built in Sydney by Peter Bracken to the highest standard. She cruised the Harbour until approximately 4 years ago, when she made her way to Goolwa, South Australia.
She is fitted with a Volvo 6 Cylinder Turbo Diesel engine that had the top end rebuilt just prior to making her way to Adelaide. Since this time she has been run regularly but only done around 20 hours since the rebuild.
The boat is being sold as is as a partly finished project boat. The clears and winter boat cover were replaced in 2024. A new timber roof liner was installed, and she was rewired to include LED lights. The starboard and front deck have been repaired, and a new custom kitchen with a 12V/240V fridge was installed. The timber surfaces have been re-varnished.
Some rot was discovered in the gunwale during the restoration project, which has been removed. This has become a slightly bigger project than the owner is able to take on. This timber project boat is perfect for someone with the time and skills required.
