About this vessel
This Bob Salthouse designed Cavalier 32 is in outstanding condition with nothing more to spend having been carefully maintained and thoughtfully upgraded by her current owner who imported her from NZ in the early 2000s. She was solidly built by Cavalier Yachts in New Zealand.
Upgrades include a full professional electrical rewire of the boat, new mast wiring and lights, a large custom stainless steel fridge, Yanmar 3GM 30HP diesel with Saildrive and a 3-blade folding propeller, new stainless steel standing rigging fitted in October 2024, new mast wiring and lights and a full hull and deck repaint. She comes well equipped and ready to cruise with Autopilot, furling headsail, new winches on the mast, a custom stainless steel framed Bimini sunshade with solar panels, a full set of cockpit and stern seat upholstered cushions, new S/S lifelines, a Walker Bay dinghy plus a 12ft Zodiac inflatable dinghy with a 3HP Yamaha outboard.
Her lovely teak trimmed interior is a real delight, she sleeps up to 6 in comfort with good headroom and plenty of light and space.
A classic design, the Cavalier 32s have a good turn of speed if you want to join in a midweek or twilight race while the offshore sailing qualities of the Cavalier 32 are well known and appreciated. Always kept under full covers, she is a turn-key yacht, her condition is impressive and inspection is encouraged.
