Mel Martin 36 Dive Vessel

This vessel features a Cummins QSB 5.9L 380 hp turbo diesel with ZF gear. Three hydraulic steering stations and one Morse cable control station provide flexible helm options.

The boat is configured with five total fish holds, the center hold used for storage rather than watertight fish handling. A 15-foot boom with manual topping and vanging is equipped with a hydraulic capstan for working.

Dive equipment includes a NAPA compressor with 13 hp Honda GX390 engine, Myers Geoduck pump with Predator motor, aluminum dive ladder, sorting box, dive bottle, and miscellaneous weights and crates.

Navigation and communication systems include a ComNav autopilot, radar, and Standard Horizon VHF with loud hailer. Interior accommodations include a Dickinson Lofoten diesel stove, bus heater, compact fridge, four berths, marine head with shower, and a 6-gallon water heater. A hydraulic anchor winch with controls at the V-berth is custom configured for dive fishery operations.
