With solid fibreglass construction, this timeless cruiser is as neat as they come with the same owner for 33 years who has lavished it with constant attention. The lines are beautiful to look at with many features from the era when game fishing charter boats were in demand in the glamorous 1970's. Originally constructed to survey for exclusive charters, "Makaira" has a large cockpit which is now covered by a full length awning for lounging around in your favourite bay. The charming interior is rich in handcrafted timber work and offers accommodation for six adults with a forward V-Berth double bed, two bunk beds and a convertible dinette for another double bed. The galley is located on the aft port side of the cabin and the bathroom compartment is on the starboard side. The flybridge is ideal for picking your way through unknown territory and the lower helm is perfect for solo handling or simply cruising around in your own time. The Volvo 70B diesel cruises all day long at 9 knots and provides enormous torque to the four blade propellor ensuring that it is an easy boat to handle. This is a very appealing vessel that you would be happy to spend week after week, sitting on a mooring, idling away the time. Highly recommended.
