Introducing the stunning 1977 Alaskan Raised Pilothouse, a classic trawler that embodies timeless elegance and robust performance. With an overall length of 53 feet, this vessel is designed for comfortable cruising and exploration. Crafted from durable wood, its displacement hull ensures stability and a smooth ride on the water. Powered by twin Ford Lehman Diesel engines, each delivering 120 hp, the Alaskan achieves a cruising speed of 9 knots and a maximum hull speed of 12 knots, making it an efficient choice for long journeys. With a remarkable range of 1,200 miles with current tank configuration, this boat is perfect for extended adventures.
Accommodations include three cabins and two heads, providing ample space for relaxation. The Alaskan features the rare Captains Quarters just aft of the pilothouse which offers a berth / office that sleeps one with a large sliding window that overlooks the helm. There are two large staterooms on the lower deck level with V-berth forward. The Master stateroom features a walk-around queen berth and ensuite head with stall shower. The interior is beautifully finished with grain matched teak woodwork and cabinetry throughout.
The galley is forward and to port in main salon and features a breakfast bar with storage under that separates the galley from salon. Up three steps from the salon is the pilothouse which features a centerline helm, expansive windows, settee and chart table.
She recently went through a refit at Svendsen's Bay Marine in Richmond CA. All new thru hulls, shafts, props, paint, wood planks replaced, AC installed, Starlink, engine work, varnish, lifelines, bilge pumps, and sanded floors. Current survey shows her to be in great condition and ready to go. Owner has been cruising California.
