Her modern, sleek good looks belie her 1977 launch date, as does her condition with a series of long-term loving owners over the years. This well performed and popular Wellington racer underwent a major refit in the early 2000s to equip her for subsequent world touring duties - including two circumnavigations, numerous Pacific Island adventures, and extensive NZ coastal cruising - and she s still a strong, powerful vessel and a joy to sail, just as you d expect of a John Spencer design.

Red Herring II is reluctantly offered for sale due to her owner s work relocation abroad. Hull and engine surveys from 2023 are available on request. Her Nelson Marina rental berth is transferable to her new owner.
