CHB Double Cabin Trawler
Overview
About this vessel
With a seakindly hull designed by noted marine architect Ed Monk Jr. and built with a rugged solid fiberglass layup, the CHB 34 trawlers were THE long distance cruisers back in the day, and, a Pacific Northwest veteran herself, Delphine is a fine example of the type. She's been well taken care of over the years and shows very nicely today, and she's the upgraded version with deck access from the aft cabin.
All the exterior brightwork was wooded and renewed over the summer of 2024 with a maintenance coat just done spring 2026, the bridgedeck teak was removed, subdeck renewed then glassed over and repainted, and exterior canvas was redone. The boat has been dived on regularly, most recently in June 2026. All in all, the boat shows as nice as any CHB ever seen.
