LANDING CRAFT FERRY DAY PASSENGER/CAR-TRUCK FERRY

A complete refit was carried out on the vessel in 2013 – which included the following items at a cost of over Euros 400,000:

Installation of anti-rolling plates either side of keel. Installation of new heavy duty ramp. New bow anchor. New hydraulic pump for ramp. Installation of two electric panels for bow anchor and ramp. All vessels' electric cables have been replaced including those in the engine room. New hydraulic system for the ramp. New fire lines in corridors. New emergency fire generator has been installed. Complete overhauling of the two stern windlass (capstan). Steel works of approximately 10 tons. New electric panels and electric cables for the stern windlasses. Both rudders have been repaired. The piping system for grey water has been replaced. Two new fans – latest technology – have been installed in the engine room. New electric wiring and lighting in engine compartments. New electric panel for rudders has been installed. New hydraulic pump for steering gear has been installed. Overhauling of both main engines, installation of new electric panel with rewiring of alarm and new cooling system. Installation of new gear boxes for both main engines. Installation of new AVR in generators. Both main engines tail shafts have been removed and inspected. 70% of the piping system in the engine room has been replaced. Both side exhaust pipes have been raised by 1.5m. Installation of pressure gauge for potable water. All fuel tanks, including daily tank, have been cleaned. Ceiling lighting on the bridge has been replaced. Replacement of two central windows on the bridge. Installation of new Koden radar. New AIS with adapter. New plotter. 2 new VHF DSC Class D2. AUTO PILOT. New public address system. New instrument panels for main engines. Installation of new electronic controls – joy stick? New power supply battery IMO APPROVED stabilizer voltage supply that converts 24v up to 220v upto 50amp. New panel for navigation lights. All wiring for bridge instruments replaced. New electrical panels & replacing of fuses with new type. An new internal access between bridge and saloon created. Rebuilding of the Captains and Chief Engineers cabins to include own personal toilet and shower in each cabin. New fully equipped galley. Building of cabins: 2 x 4 berth cabins with bathroom for passengers, 1 double cabin with bathroom for Officers, 1 single cabin with bathroom for owner, 3 double cabins with bathroom for crew, One shower room with WC. All cabins have new wiring system and air-conditioning.
