One of NZ's best classic luxury cruisers. Lovingly restored by successive owners over many years, it is now time to hand over to the next custodian of this beautiful motor launch. Launched 1979, GRP construction and powered by a completely rebuilt 210hp Detroit diesel motor (only 900 hours use) along with a completely rebuilt gear box (in Feb 2023), the running gear on this boat is like new. "MIDAS" cruises comfortably at 10kts (averaging 10-12 Litres per hour) but is capable of 16-18 knots if needed. Interior has been professionally restored with 6.1" headroom, factory teak floor and carpeting, 2 cabins: 1 Double and the other 2 single berths, saloon fitted with a pull-out double and another single, this is a family boat comfortably sleeping 7+ people. Excellent galley, fridge, and separate freezer. Comes with 2 super-sized chilly bins for storage or big fish. Wired for shore power (EWOF 2023). Comes with microwave and numerous kitchen/dining accoutrements. Hard top flybridge offers great visibility and ample seating to enjoy. Extensive electronic list VHF, GPS, sonar, chart plotter, fish finder, stereo/CD, TV etc. There have been many upgrades on this vessel over the years more recently with the addition of a bow thruster for greater manoeuvrability. Owner has just had her in the boat builders shed spending more money getting a paint touchup etc to make her look good over and above the existing engine rebuild in 2007, the heat exchanger have just been reconditioned with a new water pump impeller.
