About this vessel
The Cayzer 40 is a Classic Gentleman 27s Cruiser and was built in 1980 from Huon Pine. The vessel has been fully restored and modernised from the hull up by the current owner and presents in very good condition with all the ambience and warmth you would expect from a classic timber vessel of this type. The stunning timber fitout includes beautiful blackwood furniture and leather lounges internally, complimented by an excellent helm station and upgraded electronics. The solid ironbark keel serves as the backbone for Spotted Gum ribs under the superb Huon Pine hull. With twin caterpillar 3208 27s, 210 HP, shaft drive & twin rudders as well as the 6.5Kva Mase Genset that runs the aircon/heating and provides 240 power when away from the dock you have a boat that is well set up for long live aboard and comfortable cruising.
The lower galley is set up as a modern entertainer 27s kitchen with plenty of bench and cupboard space including a large pantry and 12/240V fridge, microwave and a dishwasher. The spacious head has a vacuflush toilet system and holding tank and plenty of storage and ventilation. The large private V berth is perfect for a couple. The saloon is bigger than most boats this size, with good ventilation and ample light via big sliding windows and also features a well placed 40 27 LED TV. The generous sized cockpit has beautiful timber decks, and has storm covers & clears to protect from the elements.
The helm is very well laid out with everything at the skipper 27s fingertips as well as adjustable floor height for sitting or standing, clear view windscreen and the same comfortable leather on the double helm seat as the saloon lounges. It also boasts full electronics suite with Lowrance HDS10 GPS, radar, fluxgate compass, autopilot, sounder, log, 27Mhz and VHF radios. With good access; the engine room is impeccably clean as are the twin yellow Caterpillars that have been maintained and serviced regularly.
