The S&S 39 warrants the description, 'classic'. Hundreds have been built and most are still cruising. Designed as bluewater-capable cruiser-racers these rugged vessels have cruised and raced the world's oceans. The heavy glass construction and solid timber fit-outs are reassuring. These vessels don't break easily. That said, the S&S 39 performs well under sail (and motor), indeed many are still club racing. "Norlee" has many sea miles under her keel.
