About this vessel
'Cookie Spirit' is a very good example of the UFO 27. Built by Colvic Craft in 1981, this cruiser racer is in great condition and benefits from a recently installed, reconditioned Volvo MD7A inboard and a full renovation of the interior including new upholstery, wiring and varnish work. She is clean and ready to go making her ideal as a family boat or for a cruising couple looking to downsize. Comprehensive sail package including spinnakers. Decent electronic navigation package.

Built by Colvic Craft in 1981, this Holman & Pye designed craft was recognised as a cost effective and affordable offshore cruiser/racer when compared to other builders of that era. She is generous in the beam and offers well proportioned and usable space both in the cockpit and below decks. Her 5-foot draft allows her to explore the shallower areas of our beautiful coastline without compromising on speed. She is good fun to sail and in the right hands will perform. GRP hull with white painted topsides. Underwater areas antifouled in May 2025. Counter hung semi balanced rudder with tiller steering. Directional skeg protects the propeller. Hull to deck moulding covered in aluminium toerail. teak strip. Teak toe rails. Foredeck and side decks finished in painted non slip. Deep self bailing cockpit with teak topped lockers. Stowage is excellent with a deep port side locker and rope locker to starboard. Cockpit dodgers. Good sized wide side decks allow easy and safe access forward. Decks finished in grey non slip paint.
