Irens 40

This racing trimaran was commissioned as "IT82", now famous as Tony Bullimore's race winning trimaran. It established Nigel Irens as a successful trimaran designer. In 1982 it won the Round Britain race in class 4 and was third in class in the Transat. It won the Quebec-St. Malo in 1984. Between 1990 and 2004 it was unused, before being completely restored and modernised between 2005 and 2007. Since 2007 the yacht has mainly been used for trips along the Atlantic coasts of England and France.
