Overview
About this vessel
A prestigious brand renowned for its exceptional build quality and capable hulls, Ocean Alexanders' 44 Ocean packed enormous interior volume into a sub-50ft cruising machine. Manana is one of the best examples of the design, extensively upgraded. With all the big-ticket items replaced and upgraded, this vessel is a true turnkey package. Its stable hull and roomy interior make for the perfect cruising vessel or spacious liveaboard, rivalling far larger vessels.
Stepping inside, the quality timber work and clean white finishes create a warm and welcoming ambience. To port is the highly polished timber dinette, with seating for 5 in comfort around the freshly upholstered settees. The well-appointed galley is to starboard and boasts all the amenities of a small apartment, featuring a 2-burner gas stove with oven, top-loading freezer and upright fridge, and microwave, ensuring even the fussiest chef feels at home.
Forward is the helm station. Set up for easy short-handed cruising, it is fully equipped with bow thruster, Garmin chart plotter, radar, autopilot, VHF radio, and engine controls at your fingertips. Just a few easy steps down is the guest accommodation. This vessel features the preferred 3 cabin layout, making it ideal for cruising with family and friends in the double forward cabin, and bunk cabin with two singles. This area is serviced by a full bathroom with an electric toilet with holding tank, a shower with hip bath, and vanity.
Aft is the spacious master suite. This superb cabin is beautifully appointed with a queen sized island bed, a full ensuite with an electric toilet with holding tank, vanity, shower and hip bath, and enough storage to liveaboard in complete comfort.
Outside, the wide freshly painted side decks are well protected by the high bulwarks and solid guard rails. The aft deck provides a great space to relax or throw a fresh fish on the BBQ. There is easy access to the fully refurbished flybridge. With a helm chair, sun lounges, and seating, there is plenty of room for all the crew to take in the views with the skipper. Protected by the full set of clears, this space can be enjoyed all year round.
Down into the engine room, it is hard to believe it is not a late model vessel. The engine room houses gleaming new fuel tanks with a combined capacity of 1800L, twin 150HP Turbo Diesel engines with approximately 500 hours on the clocks, providing excellent performance and reliability. The vessel cruises economically at 8 knots with a top speed of 10 knots. The engine room also houses an Onan 6.5KVA, 2000W inverter and all new batteries. There is also a camera in the engine room linked to the Garmin chart plotter to allow the skipper to keep an eye on all systems whilst underway.
This is a vessel that really is hard to fault. The attention to detail that has gone into its re-fit really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated and is sure to delight even the most discerning cruiser. With all the hard work done, there is nothing left to do but stock the fridge, bring your friends, and make your boating dreams a reality.
