Overview
About this vessel
The Nordic 44 is a proven offshore-capable cruiser equally at home on local waters or extended passages. Designed by Robert H. Perry, this timeless hull balances strong sailing performance with comfort and security at sea. Moderate bow and stern overhangs, a powerful sail plan, and a deep fin keel deliver excellent windward ability, while the skeg-hung rudder provides dependable tracking offshore.
The deck tooling is exceptionally well executed, featuring molded dorade boxes, recessed and newly repainted non-skid, integrated genoa tracks, and raised hardware mounting pads. Below, the interior showcases traditional yacht craftsmanship with solid teak joinery throughout and no structural fiberglass liners, contributing to both strength and longevity.
NJORD’S FAVOR is particularly well suited for Pacific Northwest cruising, equipped with Hurricane Zephyr HW hydronic diesel heat (2025), Frigoboat keel-cooled refrigeration, Iversen dodger and bimini (bimini 2021), dinghy davits, heavy-duty windlass with substantial chain, Garmin sailing instruments and Garmin 8612 Chartplotter (2020), and a Raymarine Autopilot.
