About this vessel
This 1984 Hilburn houseboat was purchased in 2023 and completely rebuilt from the hull up — essentially a new vessel with classic lines and modern comforts.
Rebuild Highlights
The boat was stripped to the hull and fully reconstructed. The engine is a Mercruiser 120 HP I/O, steam cleaned, with new stern drive, electronic ignition, and carburetor. Fuel system includes two new 50-gallon tanks. All wiring, fixtures, and plumbing are new, along with fresh water, black water, and fuel tanks. Brand new air conditioning is installed throughout.
The roof features EPDM with mold-resistant vinyl siding. The bottom is sealed and epoxy coated with fresh bottom paint. Interior walls are built with 2x4 framing, insulated 4", covered with shiplap and ¾" plywood. Flooring is cork-backed white ash. The bathroom features an electric Raritan toilet with constant water in bowl and a 12"x12" tiled shower. All appliances are new with LED lighting throughout.
The outdoor living space includes a 12'x14' screened bow lounge with ceiling fan. Over 24" of below-deck storage runs the full length and width of the boat. Two continuous battery chargers and ceiling fans are installed throughout.
