Overview
About this vessel
The Passport 40 is a 40-foot (approximately 12 m) solidly constructed fibreglass sailing yacht built by Passport Yachts with a commanding reputation for seaworthiness and reliability. This 1985 version is undoubtably the best one in Australia and has been upgraded to the highest level. Many of the upgrades are so new that they have not even been used yet. Designed by renowned yacht designer Robert Perry, it s built as a performance-cruising yacht with blue-water capability and luxury cruising appointments.
The Passport 40 has earned a strong reputation for offshore capability and sea-kindly motion. They perform well in light winds for a heavy displacement cruising yacht and downwind track well enough for spinnakers under light helm or self-steering.
With Robert Perry s design and Passport Yachts build standards, these boats are sought for their durability and performance.
The warm and inviting layout includes a large saloon with U-shaped dinette and the nicest dining table we ve seen, robust sea friendly galley with NSW gas certified stovetop and oven, pullman queen sized bed forward, very large forward bathroom area with new electric head. Aft to port side is an ideal double sea berth right close to the helm area. Extensive teak finish throughout, furniture and craftmanship quality cabinetry provides an upscale feel.
Lying Pittwater, Sydney, it s a turn key boat in stunning condition seeking new adventures. Inspection highly recommended to appreciate all that this well maintained and upgraded Passport 40 has to offer.
