The Grand Banks 36 Classic is one of the most iconic trawler-style yachts ever built, widely regarded as a benchmark for long-range cruising boats. Introduced in the mid-1960s by American Marine (the original name for Grand Banks Yachts) in Hong Kong/Singapore, it was the company's first model and helped define the modern trawler yacht category.
With an overall length of 36.83 feet, this vessel is designed for both comfort and adventure on the water. Crafted from durable fiberglass, it promises longevity and resilience. Powered by a reliable Caterpillar 3208 inboard diesel engine, delivering 211 horsepower, this boat is equipped for smooth cruising and long range. There are side deck access doors starboard forward and port aft, a bench seat with storage underneath port aft, opening side and aft windows, reading lights, teak parquet sole and storage drawers throughout.
The galley is located port forward in the salon and features: Norcold 12 VDC/110 VAC refrigerator/freezer, Princess 3-burner gas stove with oven, Magic Chef microwave oven, Coffee Maker, Countertop Ice Maker, Stainless steel sink, New counter tops in 2017, Large amount of galley storage cabinets and drawers.
The Lower Helm is starboard forward in the main cabin and features: Garmin 5212 Multifunction Display, Robertson AP200DL Auto Pilot, SidePower Bow Thruster Control, Uniden Solara VHF Radio with DSC, Datamarine Digital Depth Display, Datamarine Navigator Speed & Distance Log, Standard Hailer, Morse Engine and Transmission controls, Engine Gauges, Danforth Compass.
The forward guest stateroom offers a v-berth, 2 windows, reading lights, hanging locker, storage drawers and cabinet, teak parquet sole and an ensuite wet head that features a Groco manual toilet, vanity with formica counter top and molded sink, shower head with curtain and teak floor grate.
The aft master stateroom offers a double berth to starboard and a single berth to port, teak parquet sole, reading lights, aft hatch and ladder, opening side windows, storage drawers, shelves, hanging locker and an ensuite wet head that features a Groco manual toilet, vanity with formica counter top and molded sink, shower head with curtain and teak floor grate.
The flybridge offers a bimini, helm and seat covers, teak deck, fore and aft benchseats with storage on each side, storage under console and hinged mast with spreader lights.
