From the designer of America s Cup Challenger 'Gretel II' and Columbia Yachts in America, the Koonya II design is a heavy duty long range cruiser, designed to be safe, sea worthy and effectively efficient no matter what, with particular emphasis on excellent windward performance and easy control. It will sail at 9 knots given enough wind.

Having had a major refit in 2021 including a new Rig, new Lewmar winches and a new 30hp Yanmar diesel shaft drive, "Aeolian" also has solar charging with 4 batteries for self sufficiency, a water maker, eutec refrigeration, an electric cooktop, Raymarine electronics, a wind vane and auto pilot for short handed cruising but will sleep 6 as well. A full teak internal refit was carried out in 2008.

"Aeolian" has plenty of storage space for long range cruising and a full length keel protecting the self feathering prop and rudder, for peace of mind when exploring those exotic and unfamiliar parts of paradise.
