Overview

About this vessel

"Marysol" is new to the market and is currently in the water in Cranston, RI. The owner has been upgrading this boat every year and it has been yard-maintained while under his ownership. The boat features a brand new engine with only 42 hours on it and the galley is equipped with a brand new Dickerson propane stove.

Tour of the boat: Entering from one of the deck gates you will find teak decks with wide decks and plenty of hand holds for security. Once in the cockpit you will notice a nice steering wheel with electronics just in front of the wheel. Control lines are easy to reach for jib control with other lines being laid out nicely by the companionway. There is also access to the manual bilge pump.

Salon & Galley: Dropping down into the salon you will find on the port side a sit down navigation station just behind a plexi glass port, which is there to keep the chart table dry. This area also has the main electrical panel and electronics suite. Opposite the chart table is the galley which has a brand new Dickerson propane stove with oven. The galley also features a deep double sink with faucet, ice box, and plenty of lockers for food supplies. Moving forward on each side of the salon you will find a settee with a fixed table with pop-up leafs on each side that will provide seating for at least six people for meals together. The interior sole is all teak and holly and the interior is a satin teak finish throughout. On the port side just forward is an enclosed wet head that features a fiberglass interior for easy clean up along with a medicine cabinet, stainless steel sink and hand held shower.

Forward Cabin: The forward cabin features a full size V-berth with a filler cushion to enlarge the size of the berth area. This cabin also features a hanging locker along with storage cabinets directly above the bunks on each side. There is also a large overhead hatch for ventilation. Additionally, there is access to the chain locker at the forward end of the V-berth.

Engine Space: Access to the engine space is through a pull-out hatch directly behind the removable companionway stairs.

Back on the Deck Lazarette: Here is access to the steering gear, auto pilot pumps as well as an emergency tiller. Ample space is provided for storage for fenders, dock lines, and spares with a lazarette on each side.

Boat Deck: This boat is sloop rigged with all lines leading aft to the cockpit for safety. The boat is also set up with lazy jacks for easy raising and lowering of sails. Just forward of the mast you will find a set of dorades that provide air to the cabin below. On the foredeck you will find a Rochna anchor with 200' 3/8" BBB chain rode along with a secondary plow anchor.
