Serving most of its life as the go-to vessel for Hobart's Marine Police, "Dauntless" is a special boat indeed! Having been exceptionally well maintained and featuring a REPOWER IN 2015 WITH NEW VOLVO PENTA DIESEL ENGINES, NEW STERN DRIVE LEGS, A FULL REWIRE, AN EBERSPACHER DIESEL HEATER and more! Dauntless has only one recreational owner following its life in service, a past marine police officer no less, and has been KEPT IN AMSA 2C AND 2E SURVEY. With its proven and capable design, Dauntless features an enormous cockpit perfect for water-based activities, a spacious saloon with great seating across 3 settees, a functional galley and dual helm stations. Time spent on board is comfortable with a full standing head and twin double berths in the bow, making this vessel ideal for recreational cruising and commercial and charter work.

The saloon is spacious with plenty of natural light and a well-appointed interior. A large settee sits to port around a timber dinette, while opposite is the galley, making meal preparation and entertainment simple. The galley consists of a stainless-steel sink with hot and cold water, a 4-burner gas stove with grill, a Dometic upright fridge and good bench space. Forward is the comfortable lower helm station, which has been well-equipped following its commercial responsibilities with a 12" Garmin MFD, radar and more! To port is a third settee, acting as a navigator's area, and it makes for an excellent seating space when underway.

Additionally very comfortable as a recreational cruiser, Dauntless features a generous head in the starboard hull with full-standing headroom, a manual marine toilet and a shower with hot and cold water. Accommodation is taken care of too, with twin double berths in the bow and to each side.

The aft deck space in the cockpit is generous, particularly for this size vessel, namely featuring a sink forward, masses of storage and high sides with great protection. The engine rooms are easily accessible and house a pair of 2015 Volvo Penta 260hp diesel engines with approx. 2400hrs and are mated to a pair of stern drives (NEW in 2015), both in excellent condition thanks to regular and preventative servicing. These economic power units, mated with a great hull design, return a comfortable cruise of 16-20 knots, using between 40 and 45 L/hr combined.

The flybridge is a great addition and provides further lounge space outdoors. The flybridge helm is well-equipped with a Lowrance HDS5 plotter and reciprocal engine controls and telemetry as below. The flybridge also houses the 8-person life raft, which is in current service.

This significantly upgraded vessel presents well and features on-board spaces perfect for recreational cruising or commercial charter work. Retained in current AMSA 2C and 2E survey, its large cockpit is an excellent space for fishing or water-based activities, the flybridge perfect for nice days in the sun, while the interior benefits from great seating arrangements, a functional galley and comfortable accommodation.
