This is the classic 'Old School Haines' that has been totally stripped out, rebuilt and customised by an owner who knew what he wanted, and didn t stop until he got it. The overall spec is complete, with everything you would expect from a hard-core offshore fishing machine, but it is not overdone with things that you don t need. No fuss, tough, simple, spacious and practical, but still a full-on head turner in classic Haines Hunter yellow that pays homage to the era.
The 250 Suzuki has 1080 hours on it with a good service history, (any test welcome) it runs a Garmin digital gauge alongside full analogue Suzuki gear. The 21-degree deadrise hull is arguably the best riding hull built in Haines Hunter history, in this case complete with trim tabs and underwater lights for a bit of squid action. This boat will give you instant cred at the club or the ramp, it s the boat that you always wanted to build, but just haven t had the time to make happen.
