Hartley Cabin Cruiser 37
Overview
About this vessel
"Hangover" is a very strongly built proven motor cruiser that would make the ideal coastal cruiser or recreational fishing platform.
She was built in 1986 by Bob Drysdale in Ouse (TAS) and was constructed using correct composite boat building practises together with the best materials available including especially selected timbers.
A very well known local vessel, "Hangover" was originally built to survey and complied with the AMSA equivalent standard 2C. She is constructed of King Billy timber and GRP/Epoxy sheathed. She has a good size pilot house / main cabin with an internal helm with all instrumentation and seating. She has a good sized galley, central seating and accommodation and further accommodation forward (v berth).
"Hangover" has had many improvements over the journey. She has been built to a high standard with extensive work being carried out throughout her life and having been put into survey (when she was built) with continued regular maintenance she is in very good condition. She was recently slipped at Margate slipway in April 2026. Work completed included engine and gearbox being serviced by Hughes Marine, a new seacocks for the water cooling installed, new anodes and antifouling of the hull.
