About this vessel
Purpose built and designed specifically for New Zealand conditions, Judahn is a proven Don Senior 13.8m motor yacht renowned for her solid construction, excellent sea-keeping ability, and practical cruising layout. Don Senior vessels are well respected for their strength and longevity, and Judahn is a fine example of this classic Kiwi design.
In 2014, Judahn underwent an extensive 18-month refit at the highly regarded Spencer Marine, with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and long-term ownership confidence. As part of this refit, twin Caterpillar 3116 diesel engines producing 350hp each were installed, along with new ZF transmissions. The vessel was also converted to shaft drive, providing dependable mechanical simplicity and efficient cruising. She cruises comfortably at 18 knots, making her well suited to coastal passages and extended trips alike.
Accommodation is spacious and thoughtfully arranged, offering excellent comfort for family cruising or entertaining guests. The port-side master cabin features a queen-sized bed, while the forward cabin includes bunks sleeping up to four people. The saloon is light and inviting, with a drop-down table that allows for flexible use as a dining area or additional sleeping space when required. The overall layout provides versatility without compromising comfort.
The flybridge helm position offers excellent visibility and is equipped with modern Simrad electronics, ensuring confident navigation and ease of operation. Combined with her robust construction and proven mechanical package, Judahn delivers a capable and reassuring on-water experience.
