About this vessel
Tuppence Ha'penny is a sweet little narrowboat already in possession of a well-equipped galley and just needing some upgrading in a few areas to make her into an adorable holiday home or live-aboard. At just 40ft, she's a doddle to turn and moor anywhere on the canal network.
From the cruiser stern a side door leads into a bedroom with a fixed double berth and attractive tongue and groove panelling providing a bright and cheerful feel.
Along a short corridor is an enclosed bathroom, which has a cassette toilet, washbasin and a shower tray, although this is not currently connected and there is no shower unit in place.
Next is the galley which is neat and tidy and comes with oven, hob and grill, sink and drainer, fridge/freezer, toaster, microwave oven and even an air fryer. There is cupboard space below the worktop and a handy side hatch for extra ventilation if needed.
Finally, there is a multi-purpose saloon/dinette with seating and dining table, capable of being converted to provide a second double bed for guests. A woodburning stove also features here.
A door gives access to the bow deck.
