Overview

About this vessel

First Home is a highly modernized and refit 92 foot Cheoy Lee of the classic Tom Fexas design. She offers sleeping accommodations for eight in four cabins along with crew berths for four crew, 5 ensuite guest heads, a crew head and a day head. Her layout includes a large cockpit that is great for fishing or entertaining, a fully enclosable California deck that is a covered outdoor/indoor space with air conditioning and heating, a bar, and a large table. Passing through glass and stainless-steel sliding doors and you enter a vast salon with a bar, table, very large settee, and a grand ottoman that hides a large TV. The galley is set up as a commercial workspace, with new appliances and a versatile layout that both amateur and professional chefs would appreciate. Also wonderful is how each of the sleeping areas are separate from the other, with the full-beam primary cabin aft, the full-beam VIP quarters forward past the pilothouse, and the two guest cabins each with two twin berths midship. Everyone gets their own space.

Her current and highly knowledgeable owners purchased her in 2005. Under their ownership, she has spent time in Southern California, Baja California, Florida, and the Bahamas before moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2021.

She has undergone many refits over the years, but none as thorough as an almost two-year refit completed in 2007. Nearly the entire interior was gutted to change the entire look and feel of the vessel. The owners added a beautiful maple floor with teak lines throughout; all-new upholstery in each cabin and salon; added a swim platform, lengthened the flybridge deck to carry more toys which created a roof to the California deck; upgraded to a 2,500 lb crane (with structural reinforcements); upgraded the galley; added a glass and stainless steel door into the salon; added watermakers; lowered the floor in the master and raised the ceiling to make it much more comfortable; all new surfaces in all the heads; and much more.

Her current crew of a captain and engineer have been doing very useful updates, both cosmetic (vinyl-wrapped hull and part of the house; most of the bilges repainted), to practical (fuel system revamped, Air conditioning room redone, new appliances, etc).

She would make an excellent charter vessel, vacation or full-time home for a family.
