Designed by the renowned Hank Kaufman, the Northshore 33 has remained a highly sought after Cruiser/Racer. These Australian built yachts boast an impressive turn of speed making them popular competitors racing around the buoys or for social twilight racing. They are also very easily managed, making them ideal as a first yacht for a novice sailor to learn the ropes. Well set up to be easily sailed shorthanded, it is fully equipped with a furling headsail, mainsail in boom bag with lazy jacks, and autopilot. Also featuring a spray dodger, bimini, and cockpit cushions, this comfortable and capable vessel ticks all the boxes!
Stepping inside, the superb interior features a stunning mix of clean white finishes and traditional timber trims. This creates a warm and welcoming ambience. The spacious saloon features a folding leaf dinette, with seating for 6 in comfort on the neatly upholstered settees. The well appointed galley is to starboard and features a large top loading eutectic fridge, metho stove with oven, hot and cold water, and excellent storage. The accommodation is ideal for cruising with family and friends. To port is a double berth, there is a second double berth forward, a generous pilot berth aft, and two single settee berths in the saloon when additional accommodation is required. The package is complete with private bathroom toilet, H/C shower, and vanity.
Outside, the generous cockpit is a great space to relax and take in the views. With its impressive performance, this vessel is a joy to sail. All lines are lead back to the cockpit for easy handling. There is good access forward around the wide side decks, and a manual anchor winch on the bow.
This vessel is powered by an 18HP Volvo Penta Diesel Engine. This provides easy and reliable cruising at 5 to 6 knots.
