The Deerfoot 50 has been designed with a few really important things in mind for the serious sailor. Firstly, she is a reasonably fast ocean going cruiser. Secondly the yacht has been built to a strength to allow those speeds to be kept up, in most conditions encountered. The final piece of the puzzle for the designers was to come up with both an internal layout that matched her performance and a cockpit design to allow for safe passages. All accomplished nicely.
The solid dodger and easy access forward from the cockpit will equate to a very safe and comfortable passagemaker. She is an exceptional yacht for a cruising couple and is fast, easy to manage and thoughtfully designed for maximum safety and comfort for two.
She features watertight bulkheads, walk-in engine room, king size island berth, gourmet cook's galley, full complement of marine electronics. No expense was spared to produce this quality yacht.
