Sheet Lightning is a great example of the Westerly Storm 33, a sought-after and rarely available sailing yacht having been in single ownership since new! Renowned for her blend of performance and comfort at 33-feet in length, typical robust Westerly construction, and versatile design, Sheet Lightning offers an exhilarating sailing experience coupled with ample onboard amenities for extended cruising adventures. Sheet Lightning is a one-owner vessel since new from Westerly in 1991 and boasts a plethora of extras, including; upgraded Raytheon equipment in 2019, a Seafresh water maker (some pipework missing) and a ScanMar Windvane Steering system! Sheet Lightning has been jointly owned since new. She is now solely owned by one of the two original owners. They sailed Sheet Lightning around the world as part of the Tradewinds Rally from 1995 to 1997 hence all the additional gear on board e.g. the Twin headsail rig and poles, Monitor self steering gear, connections for Seafresh Watermaker, space for 2 more batteries etc Sea anchor/drogue, in-car radio cassette player. She is Lloyds Register Hull Construction Certificate number SOU 116028/1. They had new instruments fitted in June 2019. Documentation shows ST4000 commissioned 5th June, the rest 18th June 2019. Instruments have had minimal use.
