About this vessel
Sapphire is a cute 32ft narrowboat, built in 1993, presented in a smart navy-blue livery with whimsical star detailing that adds a touch of personality to her stern. Compact yet cleverly arranged, she offers an inviting and comfortable interior that makes excellent use of her 7ft beam.
Stepping aboard at the stern, you enter the cosy bedroom area, furnished with a pull-out sofa bed and useful cupboard storage. Moving forward, you'll find the WC with basin and pump-out toilet, with a dedicated shower room positioned directly opposite.
The layout then opens into the bright and homely galley and saloon. The galley is equipped with an oven and grill, a four-burner hob, an under-counter fridge, and a practical sink and drainer unit, offering everything needed for preparing meals aboard.
The adjoining saloon provides comfortable seating along both sides, which can be converted into additional berths when required. A removable table offers flexible dining or workspace options, and the entire living space is warmed by a multi-fuel stove set against a colourful, mosaic-style tiled surround that adds warmth and charm to the boat's character.
At the bow, steps lead out onto a small foredeck, completing a well-thought-out layout ideal for leisure cruising or short breaks afloat. Sapphire is a delightful, personality-filled boat, ready for her next adventure.
The V-bottomed baseplate of the vessel was fully over plated using 6mm mild steel plate grade S275 with mill scale finish.
