The Hunter Legend 40.5 is known for its spaciousness and comfortable accommodations. She makes a great cruising boat with a large cockpit folding cockpit table and large sugar scoop and swim step for easy boarding. The boat sails well in light winds, but is also built solid enough to feel comfortable in a large sea and big winds.

Below she is well-equipped with a well-appointed galley, and a comfortable salon. The large salon dinette also converts to a berth. The full beam aft master cabin has a massive queen size berth with private access to the head and there is a second cabin in the vberth forward. The forward head has been converted to a shower.
