Mistral Composite S.A. Farr 80 Maxi One Idrusa
Overview
About this vessel
The Farr 80 Maxi One (formerly Grand Mistral 80) is a 24.5-metre one-design yacht designed by Bruce Farr. Originally developed for Pierre Fehlmann with the vision of a one-design around-the-world race, only a limited number of yachts were built, making this model both rare and distinctive. "Idrusa" combines true racing pedigree with a surprisingly manageable and comfortable sailing experience. Designed as a performance yacht, she remains well-balanced under sail and can be handled efficiently by a competent crew. The yacht has a long and successful racing history and has been consistently maintained to a high technical and aesthetic standard by her current owner. She offers generous deck space, a functional interior layout, and accommodation for up to 14 crew in pipe cots, with a spacious and airy saloon and fully equipped galley.
Recent Works / Upgrades (2026 6 in progress): New 2.0 m carbon bowsprit, full engine overhaul including cylinder head machining, engine repainting, deck repainting with new non-skid surface, battery system overhaul and replacement. These works further enhance her performance, reliability, and overall presentation. "Idrusa" represents a solid opportunity for an owner looking for a competitive maxi racer with recent upgrades underway and immediate usability for racing. Keen seller 6 offers invited.
