Concordia Tripp 47
Overview
About this vessel
ENDURANCE is a second generation Tripp 47 built by Concordia Yacht Company in 1995. The Tripp 47 is widely regarded as a "thoroughbred" with an enviable racing record in offshore classics like the Sydney Hobart and Chicago Mac. Its light displacement hull is optimized for all-weather performance, featuring a high-aspect 7/8 fractional rig that delivers blistering speeds in light air while remaining stiff and predictable when the breeze freshens.
Despite its racing pedigree, the 47 offers a spacious interior with a navigation station, functional galley, ample storage and comfortable salon with large centerline table. While it has the "bones" of a grand-prix racer, it is increasingly popular as a short-handed cruiser. Many have been retrofitted with furling headsails and lazy jacks, allowing a couple to manage its power with ease.
