About this vessel
Custom built here in WA by Mathews Marine, this rugged coastal explorer originally went to work in the Cray Fishing industry before being utilised as an expedition vessel cruising the Montebellos Islands, the Kimberly Region along with numerous trips to the Abrolhos Islands. The substantial deck space is equipped with deck cranes, long range fuel tanks, tender cradles, pot winch, ice-maker and all of the essentials for long term liveaboard cruising. The helm was recently upgraded with Furuno electronics including Radar and Auto-Pilot and the Kubota 7Kva generator is assisted by solar panels ensuring that 12 volt systems are the main source of power. The two forward cabins have a double bed each and the dinette converts to another double along with three single bunks and a roof top tent for additional sleeping. The Volvo diesels are coupled to shaft drives that are well protected in tunnels with keels allowing this vessel to sit high and dry when required for remote maintenance. With all spares included, this capable Cat is ready for her new owner to take her over on the hard stand in Exmouth and prepare for the next journey.
