About this vessel
The Adams 13e (extended) is a classic 13 metre design by the famous Joe Adams. They are well known as successful performance racers and fast passage making cruisers for 'around the buoys', offshore racing or cruising. The Longboat was built to international [ABS] survey standards by Seahorse Marine in NSW and was fitted out and launched in Fremantle in 1998. This boat is laid out for both short-handed and fully crewed racing and cruising, she is rated for IRC racing. She is fast, exciting and competitive and is safe, strong and sea kindly.
The Adams 13 Metre was designed to demonstrate that a cruising boat can have the same performance as an ocean racer, yet still be dry and comfortable to sail. The design is well known, and many are sailing in the Eastern States and Overseas.
