Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 29.2 Lift Keel
Overview
About this vessel
The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 29.2 is an ideal first cruising yacht for those stepping up from dinghy sailing or dayboats, while also appealing to experienced sailors looking to downsize into a manageable and economical package without sacrificing sailing enjoyment.
This particular example features the desirable lifting keel and twin-rudder configuration, allowing her to explore shallow waters and tidal estuaries with confidence, while also being well suited to drying moorings. The combination offers excellent versatility without compromising the responsive and enjoyable sailing characteristics for which the Sun Odyssey range is renowned.
An unusual and valuable feature is her current MCA Category 4&6 coding for skippered charter operations. As a result, she benefits from the necessary surveys, inspections and safety equipment required for commercial use, presenting an excellent opportunity for a new owner to continue operating her as a lifestyle business or offset ownership costs through chartering.
