Overview
About this vessel
ATOLL II is an astonishing yacht and a true love of her owners. This yacht has had two major refits in recent years, 2011 and 2024, and stands today with an abundance of new kit and equipment, she boasts new standing rigging (2024), new sails (2011), new caprails (2024), new ports (2024), new electric winches (2024), new refrigeration (2024), and so much more.
These are heavy displacement yachts and ATOLL II sails with such confidence, a truly comfortable ride. Up on deck the yacht has a beautiful cockpit design and the addition of the hard top has transformed sailing in the tropics. All nav gear was new in 2011 and the yacht is very well modernized in this regard plus her battery set up (2024) is new and efficient. Her machinery has also been thoroughly serviced, many renewals, and in perfect running condition. Her four blade VariProp, together with bow thruster make for very easy maneuvering in close quarters. The extent of refits has left the yacht stacked with many spares amounting to tens of thousands of dollars, owners never spared expense.
Sails are super simple to set and reef with three sails set on furling gear, she can be easily handled by a couple. The main mast and mizzen masts were removed during the 2024 refit and fittings checked and replaced before re stepping, that is twice now in current ownership. The 12mm teak decks are in superb condition throughout, they were all new in 2010 and re caulked in 2024.
The interior of ATOLL II is beautiful and set out in a traditional way in terms of colour schemes and materials. Her initial refit when her owners bought her included an impressive re modeling of the forward section of the yacht. The fore cabin was quite small before with two heads aft then cabins each side. The improved design has transformed this section into a spacious retreat with a generous en suite head and shower to starboard, complemented by a practical workshop to port.
