About this vessel
Built by highly skilled kiwi shipwright, Alan Legge. The original very experienced sailing owners visited the yard daily to assist and oversee the construction, ensuring attention to detail was maintained at all times which is why Adagio is an exceptionally well constructed and finished ocean going performance catamaran.
Designed for shorthanded performance sailing, nearly all of her sailing systems come back to the cockpit through jammers to electric winches. The cockpit is designed to optimise efficient sail handling with nearly all control lines returning through jammers to electric winches.
The spacious saloon, incorporating the U-shaped galley, the L-shaped dining/seating area to starboard and full steering and navigation station forward, offers three sixty degree views through flat panel windows and is craftsmen fitted in light timber finishes. The navigation/steering station to port forward is equipped with a stainless steel steering wheel, K4 electronic engine controls, 2 x large Simrad plotters, Simrad auto pilot and very comfortable helm chair. The U-shaped galley is directly behind the Nav station and is fully equipped with ceramic cooktop, front opening fridge, dishwasher, two sinks, heaps of bench top space and lots of storage cupboards and drawers.
The starboard hull is dedicated to the owner's with their private queen stateroom aft and a large bathroom forward of midships and a workshop/laundry forward of this.
There is a cabin with a double and a single aft on the port side with a double cabin forward and a shared bathroom midships.
Adagio has been on the hardstand at The Boat Works since mid 2023, and has been detailed and is available for inspection.
