Overview
About this vessel
A perfect entry level production cruising yacht with a surprisingly spacious 3-cabin single head layout. The Bavaria 34 combines great sailing ability with a comfortable cockpit and an interior layout that is hard to fault. This example is a very original one owner yacht purchased from the then importer North South Yachting near to where the yacht has been based in McCarr's Creek on Pittwater. Lightly used and very well maintained this is the opportunity to take advantage of a much-loved yacht and make it your own.
Cockpit
From the transom the helm seat drops to offer easy access to the cockpit. On the transom there is a hot and cold shower next to the swim ladder, then a gas outlet for a BBQ, while in the cockpit there is a full pedestal on which are the engine controls, instrument displays and the drop-leaf cockpit table. Both the seats and cockpit floor are teak and there are symmetric cockpit lockers.
Sails and Rigging
The sail plan is conventional with a Dacron mainsail in a boom bag with lazy-jacks, and furling genoa. There is spinnaker gear including a pole, and lines are led aft through 10 clutches and four self-tailing winches.
Interior
Down below there is an L-shaped galley to port and forward facing nav station to starboard. The saloon has bench seating either side and a centreline drop-leaf table, forward to port of which is the head which has a manual toilet with holding tank. Access to the forward v-berth cabin is to starboard. The aft cabins are symmetric.
