Ocean Yachts 48 Supersport

God's Reel is an impressively clean and updated rare two-stateroom version of the Wildly Popular 48' Ocean Super Sport. This layout gives the owner a Very Large Master Cabin forward in the boat, with ensuite Head and Stand-up shower. The Port side guest room features side-by-side single beds with excellent storage. The vessel presents good speed and economy, offering great value for the owner/operator.

Salon and Galley

Enter from the cockpit through the Starboard side lockable sliding door to find the Salon bright and inviting, with very large rear and side windows. These windows are tinted and have custom blinds. Interior cabinetry is teak with high gloss teak countertops along the Starboard side. An L-shaped sofa runs along the rear and port side of the salon in very good condition, with storage beneath both sections. A teak high-low coffee and dining table and Starboard forward dinette table complete the space.

The Port side features an Island style U-shaped galley with Corian counter, dual Subzero undercounter refrigerator/freezers, and Force 10 two-burner electric glasstop stove. A Sharp Carousel convection microwave oven, Moen galley sink fixture with spray head, and instant hot water are included. The galley features teak and holly flooring and teak cabinetry.

Lower Accommodations

Down the steps from the salon and galley you will find the lower accommodations spaces. The guest stateroom, located at the base of the stairs, features two side-by-side single beds with storage below, upper teak cabinets, a large hanging locker, and additional drawer space.

Across the hall is the day head and shower, featuring a large stand-up shower stall with acrylic shower door, sink with Corian countertop, mirrored medicine cabinet, and electric freshwater flush toilet.

Located forward in the vessel is the very large master suite, featuring a queen-sized master bed with full walk-around and teak drawers beneath. The headboard runs along the port side. Teak nightstands with high gloss tops and drawers beneath flank the bed. Two tall cedar-lined closets with counter space and storage cabinet between them are positioned across from the foot of the bed. Forward in the V you will find the master head and shower, with electric fresh water flush toilet on the port side, sink vanity with mirrored medicine cabinet on the Starboard side, and a surprisingly large shower with acrylic shower doors.

Hull and Cockpit

Annually compounded, waxed and polished, she shines like a boat half her age. Bottom paint and running gear are repainted on a yearly basis. The cockpit features teak covering boards with flush mounted rod holders and custom cockpit coaming pads. A Bluewater Rocket Launcher with eight rod holders, two cup holders, rigging tray and rigging drawer sits on a stainless steel pedestal. Port and Starboard aluminum haunch rod racks hold three rods each side. A large in-deck fish box with fresh water bait sink and bait freezer with tackle storage drawers support the fishing mission. Port and Starboard side under gunwhale horizontal storage spaces and molded inside deck steps provide additional storage and access.

Engine Room

The twin Caterpillar 3196 engines, each 660 horsepower with single turbo and inline 6 cylinder configuration, underwent full service in May 2023, with both exhaust risers replaced in August 2023. Norscott dripless shaft seals, Racor primary fuel filters for both main engines and generator, and a Reverso oil change system for engines and generator are installed. Twin Disk MG5114-A transmissions with one new transmission cooler are fitted. A Westerbeake 10kw diesel powered generator in soundshield provides auxiliary power.

Electronics and Flybridge

The flybridge features dual Release Marine teak ladderback helm chairs with teak footrests and new upholstery in 2024. Updated Garmin electronics include a Garmin HD 48 inch open array radar antenna, Garmin GPSmap 1040xs full color MFD with radar, sounder and GPS plotter, and Garmin 7212 touch screen GPS/sounder. Additional navigation equipment includes a Raymarine Raypilot 650 autopilot, Raymarine tri-data digital repeater, Ritchie powerdamp compass, and RayMarine ST60+ wind instrument. Standard Horizon Eclipse VHF radio with DSC/GPS and Standard Horizon MATRIX VHF radio with AIS/GPS provide communications. A JBL marine stereo model R3500 with AM/FM/Bluetooth rounds out the electronics suite.

Foredeck

The foredeck features aluminum bow railing, heavy duty stainless steel bow and mid-ship cleats, molded in anchor pulpit, and ideal windlass capstan style anchor windlass with foot pedal controls.
