About this vessel
Predator is a Westcoaster International purpose-built tuna fishing vessel, designed and configured for extended fishing trips with expansive range and fish carrying capacity.
The Westcoaster tuna fishing vessels punch way above their weight. More sought after than the aft-wheelhouse versions, this single level Westcoaster has been fished for tuna for over 20 years and continuously maintained and upgraded over that time. Currently fitted with a Yanmar 6 cylinder 6LAH-STE3, producing economical cruise when fully laden. Carrying 35,000 litres of refrigerated sea water, additional bait freezer and full suite of tuna fishing gear.
Featuring a single level and large displacement, Predator is a beast in the open ocean. Her current owners fish all weather completing 900nm round trips and extending right to the edge of the EEZ boundary.
