Overview
About this vessel
If you are looking for your entry into the WA boating world the Bayliner 2655 Ciera offers all you might ask for in a family 4 berth boating package. A sizeable forward berth for mum and dad and a transverse aft berth for the two kids, a decent sized head unit with toilet and shower and enough Galley space to keep the family fed and watered for a weekend out on the water. All happily living under a full set of rear canopies to protect you from the harsh WA sun.
The rear integrated swim platform complete with an outboard auxiliary bracket allows easy access up the rear stainless steel ladder and through to the Cockpit via the Starboard side transom door where you can take up residence in one of the three seating options. A rear folding lounge lays flat against the transom when you are looking to wet a line and sits firmly in its brackets when the afternoon snacks are laid out for the kids on the removable outdoor table. Flip the backrest forward and you have two seating options around the aft table, flip it aft and you have a large forward facing sun lounge / chaise lounge that converts to a lay flat large sun bed when mum wants to relax while the kids swim off the back. Its a great layout with a full set of covers overhead to keep the sun at bay and extend the night time use of the boat when swinging off the anchor in your favourite bay.
A couple of steps down the central companionway and the boat really opens up before you, lets not forget this is only a 26 foot boat! There is ample head room down below with the largest forward berth configuration of any boat in its class. The front berth is huge when collapsing the dinette and inserting the bunk infill. You may need a custom set of bed sheets for this one. Heading aft is a queen sized transverse berth ideal for the kids or another couple if heading away for a weekend on the water. Off to the Port side is the standard Bayliner galley. The stove has been removed (not my favoured position to cook anyway) leaving plenty of prep room for a charcuterie board to be made ready for the afternoon glow of another WA sunset. There is a microwave but with no shore power cord to check operation we are unsure of its operation. The current owners have not used the shore power side of this boat during their ownership. Completing the Saloon area is a functional dinette and head with shower and toilet. This little Bayliner has all you need for a day or a week away at Herring Bay.
A concise and functional helm position to the Starboard side with all you need right at hand with Lowrance electronics, Boat leveller trim tabs, hydraulic steering to the helm and a brace of gauges allowing you to keep a solid eye on the engines performance. Speaking of power this Bayliner 2655 is running the Mercruiser 5.7 Thunderbolt V8 stern drive, petrol powered with a Bravo 3 duo prop leg. Unfortunately no hour meter is installed so we cannot confirm the hours. Serviced in Feb 2026 she is ready for the remainder of the season.
Currently residing on a JINKER trailer, while licensed it is not road worthy (it can be made so with a little work) and has been running from the hardstand to the boat ramp a distance of a few hundred meters for the last 4 years of the current family's ownership. An alloy I beam framed Load Rite tandem trailer. It does all it should for a JINKER.
