Genie is a rare opportunity to acquire a fully refitted, ocean-proven Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 45.2, meticulously upgraded for serious bluewater cruising and modern liveaboard comfort.
Over the past 7 years, her current owner has sailed extensively around the world, continuously improving and refining the yacht. In the last 2 years alone, Genie has undergone a comprehensive refit, transforming her into a highly capable, self-sufficient offshore cruiser.

Why Genie Stands Out
Genie has benefitted from a serious owner-led refit, focusing on reliability, autonomy, and comfort. The keel was removed and keel bolts replaced, with reinforcement to the bow for offshore strength. Antifouling was completed in 2024, and teak decks were removed and replaced with low-maintenance non-slip surfaces.
Standing rigging is approximately 6 years old and professionally inspected, with all running rigging replaced. The sail wardrobe includes a 150% furling genoa, in-mast furling mainsail, and spinnaker, all serviced in 2024.
Power & Energy Independence
A standout feature of Genie is her fully modernised energy system, designed for long-term off-grid cruising. The 1,200W solar array and 840Ah lithium battery bank allow for quiet, efficient, and sustainable cruising with minimal reliance on shore power or fuel. The generator has been removed, and fully electric onboard systems are in place.
Navigation & Electronics
Navigation has been fully modernised with a new Raymarine Axiom suite including a 9" display at the navigation station and a 12" display at the helm. Octopus system integration provides remote diagnostics and support.
Deck & Exterior Features
A custom bimini shades the deck, and a new 32kg Rocna anchor with 100m chain is fitted. A hydraulic swim platform aids boarding ease, underwater lights are installed, and a tender crane system is in place. The tender package includes a Highfield tender and Tohatsu 9.8hp outboard.
Interior & Liveaboard Comfort
Genie has been thoughtfully redesigned for long-term liveaboard comfort. The forward cabins have been converted into a large master cabin within a 3-cabin layout, and there are 2 heads with showers featuring electric flush.
The salon includes a custom hydraulic table that converts to additional berths, a 43" LED TV, and 16,000 BTU air conditioning. The galley is fully electric with induction cooking, an air fryer, and a large Dometic freezer with custom island workspace. New sinks and upgraded finishes are throughout.
Outdoor living includes a Magma gas grill and a spacious cockpit with a new teak sole.
